Our Commitment
At Sahara London, we believe everyone should be able to shop with ease. We are committed to making saharalondon.com as accessible and inclusive as possible, regardless of the technology or ability someone uses to browse our site.
This statement explains where we currently are, what we are doing to improve, and how to reach us if you encounter any difficulties.
How Accessible is the Website
We are currently in the process of formally assessing saharalondon.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.
We have not yet completed a full audit, and we recognise this means there may be areas of the site that are not fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and address these.
In the meantime, we have taken steps to improve the experience for all users, including:
- Using clear, plain language across the site
- Providing descriptive alt text on product images
- Aiming for sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
Known Limitations
We have not yet completed a formal audit of saharalondon.com, and we want to be upfront about that. Specifically:
- We are in the process of tested the site with screen readers or keyboard-only navigation
- We cannot currently confirm full compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA
We believe it is more honest to acknowledge this than to make claims we have not yet verified. Identifying and addressing these gaps is the purpose of our planned audit.
