Tongasoa Artisanal was founded by Baptistine, an entrepreneur living in France of Malagasy origin, with a clear purpose: to bring Madagascar’s raffia craft to a wider audience. The brand works directly with artisans on the island, supporting fair, stable employment while preserving traditional hand skills. Each piece is handmade from locally harvested raffia, a strong, flexible natural fibre shaped through Malagasy crochet techniques. Light, tactile, and full of organic irregularity, every piece carries the story of the hand that made it.
