    Lovely drape

    This scarf has lovely drape and beautiful colours. Looks great with all black, but goes with plenty else as well. If you haven’t seen it in a shop it might be helpful to know the backing is a different material - a very lightweight gauzy material in light brown. I like it because it makes the scarf light and easy to wrap, but it might not be to everyone’s taste if you’re looking for back and front to be the same. Depending on how you wrap it you can see the brown. It’s fine for me but might not appeal to everyone.

    Great soft colour, feel & drape

    I saw this scarf first, either online or in a small catalogue received by post a while ago. My initial thoughts were that I loved the colours, the material being velvet, and that it would be so useful, but as I am under 5' tall, it would probably overwhelm me. I eventually sent for it and tried it on over a black t-shirt AND ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT! I thought it might be bulky but in fact it is soft and supple and drapes well. I was right about the colour suiting me (I am very pale with creamy white hair). It has hints of dark blue in the cloth so will also be great over navy or shades of dark blue clothing. It will be perfect for dressing up casual clothing or with smarter separates. I will need to be careful if wearing in restaurants or where food & drink is involved as it needs to be dry cleaned - two ten mile round trips, parking hassle and several days during cleaning, but never mind.

    Extravagant

    Fantastic design and velvet. Pre-purchase did not appreciate that it is backed in a different fabric- muslin/ gauze- had assumed it was velvet on both sides, given the price. Have kept as colours fit several jackets and coats and the different fabric makes for a less heavy scarf but will not purchase similar if sold next Autumn.
