    Sculptural pleating, striking design, gorgeous mid-tones

    Striking pattern and beautiful colours, the pleated fabric gives this dress an almost sculptural form where it’s designed to stand away from the body. There’s more give than I was expecting across the bust where the pleating runs horizontally, so the fit is perfect; it doesn’t want to be over-generous across hips. Easy to store (folded inside out) and zero creasing expected: polyester. That’s the only caveat really, especially if your personal engine tends to run hot.

    Loved the print

    Sadly, I had to return it because it hung like a sack on me. Maybe the pleats held it out too firmly, maybe I'm too short for it to flow properly. Beautiful colours, but the texture and shape just didn't work for me.
