    A striking, stylish, lightweight coat not limited to evening wear.

    I don’t usually wear black near my face but was drawn to this stylish coat in the sale. I thought the deep shawl collar offered options for more flattering colours in scarves beneath (it does) and really liked the textured ribbing detail, high back collar and voluminous pockets. It falls into a neat cocoon shape towards the knee and the sleeves are a perfect length. It will be useful over many outfits that can take a black coat, either dressed up or down, where there’s no need to add warmth . It will look just as good worn slouchy-casual, the single press-stud fastening making it easy to throw on and go. A really useful piece.
